The TTC project, UIMA and web service-based approaches in complex linguistic processing chains were presented by Ulrich Heid (IMS) to the scientific community at the European and regional (Germany) levels during his plenary talk at a pre-GSCL-Workshop (GSCL 2011 Conference) held on September 27 in Hamburg, Germany. Language resources and tools in webservice portals and metadata issues were also highlighted.
